Department for Education Coronavirus helpline

The DfE have launched a helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:

DfE Voucher scheme launches for schools providing free school meals

Weekly shopping vouchers worth £15 to spend at supermarkets while schools are closed due to coronavirus – read more information on the DfE website.

Free School Meals – application process

The Free School Meals service is still operating – schools can keep up to date with the latest service alerts and announcements through the DCC support for schools webpages. Schools should be aware that there have been some scam emails doing the rounds which relate to free school meals.
